5.4 Planting the seeds
Make 2 cm drills in moist soil. Place the seeds
5 cm apart, cover with soil and water carefully.
Remember to mark each drill with the name
of the plant and the date using labelled stakes
or lolly sticks. You can use a pencil, pen or
felt-tip pen.
Strong, healthy seedlings need moist
soil that is free of weeds. Water in
the morning and the evening.
